Last post from China!

We made it to Hong Kong.  Our flight leaves at 11 am in the morning.  We are ready to be home! And ready to get adjusted to life as a family of SIX :)  We appreciate your words of encouragement & prayers so much.  We have definitely felt them.  It has been a wonderful journey here in China, but not an easy one. It will take quite some time to get back to "normal"..... if that's even possible.  Our family dynamics have changed drastically in the last two weeks.  Please continue to lift us up as we come to mind.  We know God has brought us to this precious angel & her to us... We are trusting Him to work out every detail.... because He is IN every detail.  As Naomi adjusts to this new crazy busy life of ours & we adjust to having her very vivacious personality with us...

We made our group pictures yesterday as well as went to the Guangzhou Zoo after our Consulate Appointment.  It was a lot of fun.  Naomi wasn't sure about the animals at first, but she warmed up after a while.

There were only four total families in our group & I was so very thankful for each one of them.  Praise the Lord we did not have to do any of this alone..... He is Good :)

The four sweet ones.... Their ages range from 2-4 years old.  Again, Naomi is a "little mommie"... getting ready to stroll her friend in her stroller... :)

And, a Starbucks afterward :)

Of course, the boys drew attention again (they're ganna miss this when we get home...lol)

Naomi wrapped a diaper around her baby before we left the hotel! So cute!

She is quite the princess!!

She is waving at the animals from a distance... she did NOT want to be up close & personal... :)

Kangaroos!! So cute!

Our little mommie :))

It has taken her a while to like cold stuff..... She likes popsicles now!  And it's a good thing... she better get ready for that Mississippi heat!

  3. Praying you home! Now the real fun begins. Once your body adjusts back to American time, you will love seeing the world through Naomi's eyes. Everything {and I mean EVERYthing} will be new and exciting to her. I am so very thankful that she is with her forever family. Such an amazing picture of God's beautiful grace and work that united your daughter to you.
